Excellent little resto on the port. Simple menu, excellent dishes, and affordable. Relaxed family atmosphere, eating outside on comfortable tables... Like a poissonade, great food and environment.

I'd spotted this on Google maps when planning a cycle and thought it looked interesting mid ride stop for lunch, so planned a good ride, so I could do that. Fabulous place. Cracking meal. Delicious sardines, accompanied by well seasoned potatoes and courgette. Washed down with an artisan beer and finished with a delicious chocolate slice. Possibly one of the nicest meals I ate on holiday. Simple, but very well executed. Only sad I didn't have family with me to enjoy. It's busy - cyclists, people making trip there. So you'll order and wait a little at peak times. Tables are communal, so you may end up perching as I did, with a couple who'd come from a nearby town for a midweek lunch. View is down the harbour towards woody hillsides and out to see. People that run it seem friendly and running around to make it happen, yet service and quality held up well. Do I wish I'd found earlier? Yes. Because I'd have planned a few more rides in or returned with family. Divert, because if you like fresh food very well prepared, you won't go wrong!

Great for a quick lunch, with fresh fish overlooking the port. Sardines are the prime option, but they also have sausage. Good local brewery beer selection, plus ciders or kombuchas. Kids menu is great, just smaller portion.

It's just a cool and relaxing place to be . You're sitting right on a port, and after, if you want to have a walk, there is a beautiful walk path there also .
